Spraylat’s Lacryl sign paint products represent the leading product line for plastic sign faces in North America. Spraylat’s 400 Series products are designed for spray applications. 400 Series applications are often those involving lower volume sign production situations or custom sign requirements. The 800 Series products are formulated for higher volume, screen application. Both the 400 and 800 Series coatings are very easy to apply in production. As part of our product offerings for plastic sign face applications, Spraylat also offers our traditional, high quality Lacryl Sign Strip products. These strippable coatings are recognized for their quality, performance and ease of use in the manufacture.
Painted Signs vs. Vinyl
Spraylat’s Lacryl 800 Series sign paints deliver key benefits compared to vinyl flex-face signs. Cost savings are derived from reduced labor cost, significantly less scrap and excellent coverage rates for these coatings. In service, Lacryl manufactured signs have demonstrated improved durability and greater sign longevity. The appearance and depth of image of painted sign faces is superior to that of a vinyl flex-face sign delivering a higher quality product. In addition, painted signs have no seams which can show dark lines when illuminated.
Sign Paints
Spraylat offer a full line of metal sign paint products. Our traditional product offerings include our Series 20 metal sign products and our Series 95 acyrlic urethane metal sign paints. Spraylat Series 20 acrylic lacquer sign paints are fast dry products which are intended for use on small volume jobs, including channel letter applications. Spraylat’s Series 95 high gloss metal sign paint offers excellent weatherability and durability, delivering long term performance in service. EMMAQUA testing and South Florida weathering results confirm the quality of Spraylat’s Series 95 coatings.
Spraylat has introduced MARK I, a new, high performance member of the Series 95 family of metal sign coatings. MARK 1 is an advanced metal sign paint process that uses a universal colorant system to provide both a compliant 2.8 VOC formulation and a conventional 4.0 VOC formulation in a single coating system. MARK 1 is available in a full range of glosses and an extended range of intermix colors through Spraylat’s new Integrated Color Matching System. This coating system is also fast dry, smooth and very easy to apply in production. The weatherability of Spraylat’s MARK I coatings is excellent when applied over Spraylat’s recommended wash primer or epoxy primer
